Daylen Joseph Jones was born on May 5, 2009 to Dimples Chavis Jones and Darrell Jones, Sr. in Beaumont, Texas.

Daylen was a fourth-grade student at Regina Howell Elementary. He was an all “A” student since kindergarten. In addition, to his grades he remained active playing basketball for Regina Howell Elementary and Beaumont Little Dribblers, played football with the West Beaumont Bulldogs Football League and soccer with the Beaumont Youth Soccer League. 

On December 15, 2018 Daylen began his heavenly transition at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the medical center in Houston, Texas.

Memories are left to his parents, Dimples and Darrell Jones, Sr.; paternal grand-father, Wilson Jones, Jr.; maternal grand-mother, Merce Chavis Bernard; brothers, Ben Wells, Jarvis Hightower, Chaz Jones Sr., Darrell Jones, Jr. and Breshard Jones; sisters, Raven Jones and Kadesha Jones; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 There will be a visitation at 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Life service for Daylen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Paradise Baptist Church located at 4390 Fannett Rd @ Hwy 69 S. in Beaumont. He will take his earthly rest at Live Oak Memorial Park.
