DeAntwine S. Jones, Sr. was born on October 28, 1987 to Dennis E. Jones and Patrina Bell-Jones at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

He attended schools in the local public school system and graduated from Central High School in 2006.  His love for football caused him to excel as a running back in his high school years. DeAntwine was the proud recipient of several awards and titles in favorite sport of football.  In 2006 , DeAntwine received a scholarship to play football for Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

DeAntwine was self motivated and his desire to be a good provider led him to work as an oilfield laboring technician, cook and disaster clean-up helper.  Accepting Christ as his Lord and Saviour as a youngster, DeAntwine was baptized at Westhaven Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas by his uncle Pastor C.L. Jones.

DeAntwine leaves his three precious gems to carry on his legacy, DeAntwine Seth Jones, Jr., Andria Marie Jones, and Se’Heaven DeBoi Jones; mother, Patrina Bell- Ruffin and father, Rev. Dennis (Valla) Jones; step-father, Clay Ruffin; brothers, Dannis (NaKesha) Jones, Dennis O. Yancey, Kience Jones-Provost and Darron Barnes; cousins raised closely with him, Meka Bell, Jason Bell, Jeremy Bell, Nytaisha Gibson, Teyonna Phillips, John Phillips, Whitney Bell, and Darion White; special aunt Olivia (Shane) Landry and uncle Milton Bell along with his niece Dannita Jones.  As well as a host of loving relatives and friends.

On Saturday, April 13, 2019 there will be visitation at 9 a.m. followed by the home-going celebration service at 11 a.m. at Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel located at 624 Irma St. in Beaumont, Texas.  He will take his earthly rest at Greenlawn Cemetery.
