Donald Carroll Rocio, affectionally known as “Don Carroll,” was born on February 15, 1961 to Adolph Rocio. Jr. and Willene Harris Rocio. He matriculated through Beaumont Public Schools and was a 1979 graduate of Beaumont Charlton-Pollard High School. He attended Lamar University and worked for the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department until his medical retirement.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in 1971 at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church and remained a member until his health failed.

He loved the Lord, his family, co-workers and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, step-mother, and two brothers.

On Monday, January 22nd he quietly was ushered into the arms of Jesus and received his heavenly crown. Leaving to cherish his memory, five brothers: Ronald Rocio(Nandria); William Rocio; Charles Rocio(Cheryl); Patrick Rocio and Roy Stevens. Seven sisters: Patricia Washington(Billy); Norma Rocio; Alice Laday; Shelia Bryant (Joseph III); June Rocio; Connie Rocio and Lorrie Nickson. Aunt – Essie Parker; sister-in-love – Catherine Rocio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church members, co-workers of the Sheriff’s Department, childhood friend – Thomas Sigee and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church (775 Cuniff St.) followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. He will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
