Saturday, October 6, 2018 at there will be a visitation at 9 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Life Service at Mt. Rose Baptist Church located at 1205 Gladys St., Beaumont, TX 77701

Henry James “Jack” Ward, Sr. was born on August 1, 1925 in Lorena, Texas to Henry Ward, Sr. and Lillie Mae Mongang.  He attended public school in Lorena, Texas. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of sixteen, where he completed school and worked as a custodian.

He gave his life to Christ at a young age and began singing for the Lord.  He sang in several quartet groups.  He was the manager of the Sensation Tones.  He met and married Lillian Henderson, who also sang in a quartet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Goldie Ward, and brother, Lorenza Ward.

Cherish memories are left to his wife, Lillian Ward; sons, Keith Ward, Henry Ward, Tony Ward, and Brian Ward; daughters, Sandra Richard, Renee Ward and Santa Maria Ward; brothers, Charles Ward and Larry Ward. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; his extended family, friends and church family.

On Friday, September 28, 2018 “Jack” left his earthly labor and began his journey to his heavenly reward at his home on Beaumont.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018 at there will be a visitation at 9 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Life Service at Mt. Rose Baptist Church located at 1205 Gladys St., in Beaumont.
