Marilyn Cameron, 68, a woman greatly loved and respected, left for her heavenly home July 19th, 2018. Marilyn departed this life peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was at home, in Beaumont, Texas, surrounded by family, surrounded by love.

Marilyn, with her husband, Howard, pastored Trinity Church Beaumont for 35 plus years and was a wonderful Bible teacher whose teaching and love touched and changed many lives. She will be missed enormously by all who knew her.

Born in Seminole, Texas, on June 6, 1950 to parents Henry and Georgia Shipman, grew up in Lubbock, Texas where she earned her bachelors at Texas Tech University. Married, and survived by her husband, Howard Cameron, they attended Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was ordained a minster of the Gospel in 1986. In August, 1981 they pioneered Trinity Church of Beaumont, Texas which they pastored until September 2016. She was a dedicated minister of the Gospel and taught often at Trinity Church and was an instructor at Covenant Bible College. From September, 2016 to present day, she was on staff with Freedom Crusades, also of Beaumont. Her impact has been felt greatly in the greater Beaumont area and in numerous nations that were touched by her love and her desire to see lives healed.

She is survived by her mother Mrs. Georgia Shipman of Lubbock and her brother, Bart Shipman, also of Lubbock.; her husband of 40 years, Pastor Howard Cameron, her wonderful daughters, Nicole Riedmueller and Caitlyn Wilson and her sons in law, Russ Riedmueller and Pastor Andrew Wilson, respectively, and three wonderful grandsons, Ryan, Mark and Cade Riedmueller along with many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services for Marilyn will be held on Monday, July 23, at Christian Fellowship Church, 3950 Pointe Parkway in Beaumont. Visitation will be from 9 until 11, with the service at 11 am. Pastor Andrew Wilson of Trinity Church will officiate.
