CasSandra Lynn Sanders, age 48, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Beaumont, TX.  She was born on February 9, 1969 to the late Alex Warren Sanders Sr. and Zelma Sanders Jones.

CasSandra was a long-time resident of Beaumont, TX.  She attended French High School and graduated from Central High School in 1988.  She was an avid violinist in the school’s orchestra and also participated in the Beaumont Symphony of Southeast Texas Orchestra during her high school years.  She worked primarily for Munroe’s Answering Service prior to her illness.

CasSandra was a member of Johnson Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.   CasSandra’s passion and delight was her nieces, nephews, and god-children.  She spent much of her spare time helping to raise them.

CasSandra was preceded in death by her father, Alex Sanders Sr., and her godson Trazayre Sanders. 

Left to cherish her memories is her mother, Zelma Jones (Oscar); seven siblings, Elliot Sanders (Matilda), Donnetta Richard, D’Wanda Sanders-Marks, Alex Sanders Jr. (Sharon), Velma Guidry, Victor Sanders Sr. (Kristin), and Victoria Sanders Blazer; god-mother Lillian Anderson; two god-children, Victavia Sanders and Ciara Carter; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
