A Home Going Celebration will be held for Mable Rita Campbell, 80 at11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ (St. Paul), 135 W Pershing St., New Iberia, Louisiana with Rev. Joseph C. Noah, III officiating.
She will be entombed and await the resurrection at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia.
A gathering of family and friends will be at the church on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. until the time of service.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mable Rita went from her earthly labor to begin her journey to her heavenly reward at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Iberia Extended Care Hospital in New Iberia.
Mable leaves to cherish her memory and in God’s Care, four sons, Arvin Campbell, Antoine Campbell, Allen Shephard, and Arnold Harrison; three daughters, Adrienne C. Woods (Anthony), Phyllis C. Comeaux (Rodney), and Misty Campbell (Keith); 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded death by her parents, L. C. Campbell and Mary Simon; son, Andra Harrison and daughter, Tereska Harrison.
