Alfred “Butsy” Guillory, a loving husband and father, was granted his wings Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas at the age of 78.

In Beaumont, Texas, Alfred was born on April 12, 1942, to Joe Comeaux and Alberta Haynes. He was married to Annie Granger (Stewart) for 50 years, and together they raised eleven children.

“Butsy” was a dedicated employee with the City of Beaumont Sanitation Dept. for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Guillory; parents, Joe Comeaux and Alberta Haynes.  Also preceding “Butsy” were his brothers, Dolan Haynes and Earl Guillory; sisters,  Denise Comeaux and Carrie Young; son, Howard “Pappy” Granger, and daughter, Lillie Guillory.

Memories are left to his children, Sandra Briggs (Jason), David Guillory (Merlin), Mary Granger, Ricky Guillory (Lorraine), Linda Granger, Bo Granger,  Madelyn Granger (Steve), Beaulah Granger (Patrick), and Joyce Granger (Joseph); brothers Leon Haynes (Shirley) and Nick Haynes; sisters, Teresa Antoine (Ray) and Marie Murray.  He was blessed with 39 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
