Harvey Abatte was born on October 4, 1956, in Beaumont, Texas to the Delbert and Ethel Lee St. Andre Abatte.
Harvey was a 1975 honor graduate of Hebert High School where he was voted “Most Couteous”.
He graduated from Lamar University with a degree in Sociology.
Prior to his illness he was employed with MHMR.  
He passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Abatte and brother, Timothy Abatte.  
Harv is survived by his mother, Ethel Lee Abatte; brothers, Edwin Abatte and Anthony Abatte; sister, Annette Abatte; nephew, Anthony Joseph Abatte; and a host of family and friends.
Celebration of Life Services are as follows:
