Madie Jean Barry, 86, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at her home. 

She was a retired dedicated educator and who loved teaching children. 

She leaves memories of a well-lived and full life to her family, Johnny “Beatty” Barry (Sheila);  daughter, Terri Harmison (Robert); adopted son, Julius Manus Barry; brother, Boley Jackson, Jr., (Paulette); sister, Linda Neal; grand-daughter, April Gallien; great-grandchildren, Terri and Alyssa; great-great-grandchildren, Ethan, Paige, and Paris; caregiver, Olivia Hill. Also, a host of family and friends. 

Visitation will be 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Comeaux-Community Funeral Chapel, 624 Irma St. in Beaumont on Thursday, December 17, 2020.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harvey Barry, on Friday, December 18, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery.
